Meanwhile, defending champions Multan Sultans will be up against Karachi Kings in the opening game of the competition. Hence, it will be Babar Azam vs Mohammad Rizwan at the National Stadium in Karachi. Speaking of the playing conditions, if any team loses players due to COVID-19 positive results, then they can seek technical committee’s permission for replacement from the reserve pool of players.
Also, the television umpires will be calling no balls. While there’s a reserve day for the final clash, the team finishing at better position in the points table will be declared champions if the reserve day is also washed out.
