The 39-year-old cricketer was once counted as the promising cricketer in his country. But, his inconsistency with the bat and behaviour ruled him out of the national team. He has so far played 16 Tests, 121 ODIs and 84 T20Is in which he has gathered as many as 5,887 runs three tons and 34 half-centuries across all the formats. The right-hander played his last international game against Sri Lanka on October 9, 2019.
