Perera received 5 Man of the match awards for his match winning performances in ODIs and vital contributions. Thisara Perera’s Man of the match awards have also come mostly for his bowling performances, but he has also proved his worth with his batting as well. 6. An off spinner and an occasional wicketkeeper, Dilshan has been a valuable asset to the Lankan team since his debut in 1999. Dilshan has received 11 man of the match awards after the unsuccessful 2011 World cup.Most of his vital contributions came at home or on the England tour where Sri Lanka defeated England in both the Test and ODI series for the very first time. He also got the Man of the match award recently for his century against New Zealand just before the World cup 2015 starts.
