Raillu Kattas rarely perform under pressure: Imran Khan
India and Pakistan have played each other six times in the history of the World Cup. However, India have won on every single occasion.
An India-Pakistan game always creates a massive attraction. The hype and the build-up has always been huge. Suggestions and comments come in from all quarters. The Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan who is the only Pakistani captain to lift a World Cup also had words of encouragement for the Pakistan team.
Imran Khan sent out a series of tweets trying to motivate the team and provide them with some words of wisdom as well. In one of those tweets, he advised the team to go in with specialists. Be it, batsmen or bowlers, the legendary all-rounder felt that ‘Raillu Kattas’ rarely perform under pressure. ‘Raillu Kattas’ indicates to persons who barely offer any value to the team and have very little impact.
In the same tweet, he wanted Sarfaraz to bat first unless the pitch is damp. However, that did not happen as the Pakistan captain won the toss and opted to field first under overcast conditions. Moreover, they also made a couple of changes from their last game. Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim replaced Shaheen Afridi and Asif Ali, both of whom failed in the last game.
“In order to have a winning offensive strategy, Sarfaraz must go in with specialist batsmen and bowlers because “Raillu Kattas” rarely perform under pressure – especially the intense kind that will be generated today. Unless pitch is damp, Sarfaraz must win the toss & bat,” Imran Khan tweeted.
“Banish all fear of losing,” Imran Khan’s advice to the Pakistan team
India and Pakistan have played each other six times in the history of the World Cup. However, India have won on every single occasion. India first played Pakistan in a World Cup game back in 1992 when Imran Khan was the captain. Right from that game, India have been dominating in World Cup cricket. He wants the team to fight till the last ball and give all best.
“Finally, even though India may be the favourites, banish all fear of losing. Just give your best and fight till the last ball. Then accept whatever the result like true sportsmen,” the Pakistan Prime Minister tweeted.
