Rajasthan Royals hilariously troll RCB for using their incorrect logo

The BCCI, on Sunday, finally announced the schedule for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The tournament is set to commence from September 19 with the match between the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and three-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Among the other teams, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), led by Virat Kohli, will take the field against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their first game.

The social media handles of all the franchises  duly resorted to posting their respective schedules soon after it was released. Similarly, even RCB’s official Twitter handle did it and asked their fans, the 12th Man Army, to pick their favourite fixture. They posted a small video with the team’s fixtures and changed logos of the other teams RCB is set to face.

Their second match of the season is against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and somehow, the RCB’s Twitter handle posted the wrong logo of the franchise only to get trolled from them. The Royals have turned Pink since last season and their jersey and logo has also changed accordingly. But in their tweet, the RCB showed the Royals’ logo in blue only.

Royals’ unique way of trolling

The Royals’ Twitter handle has been at its humorous best in recent times. After responding to an RCB fan over trading over Jos Buttler in the best possible way, they have hilariously trolled the franchise’s Twitter handle for making a mistake. Quoting to RCB’s tweet, the Royals posted a picture of a boy writing, “I will use the correct logo of RR,” multiple times.

This is not the first time that the franchises have pulled each other’s legs on social media. The friendly banter is constantly going on every now and then. The action intensifies when the IPL is set to commence and the same is happening now. As far as the schedule is concerned, the Royals will start their campaign on September 22 while the RCB will take the field a day prior.
