Next on the list is Rudra Pratap Singh. Although the left-arm pacer didn’t play many matches at the highest level, he bowled some memorable spells in Team India colours. RP was able to swing the ball both ways, and that too with a good pace.

Moreover, his ability to nail toe-crushing yorkers shattered the stumps of many prominent batsmen. He bowled several fiery spells in the 2007 T20 World Cup as India won one game after another. Be it taking wickets with the new ball or restricting the run-flow in end overs, RP delivered whenever Dhoni threw the ball at him.

Who can forget his four-wicket haul against South Africa, which took India to a much-needed victory? The pacer also scalped three wickets in the final against Pakistan. He eventually finished the tournament with 12 wickets in seven games, the third-highest for anyone.

The fast bowler couldn’t replicate his brilliant show in the 2009 edition of the competition and wasn’t picked in the subsequent tournaments. RP announced his retirement from all forms of the game in September 2018.
