Shaheen Shah Afridi is perhaps Pakistan’s best fast bowler in recent history. In the T20 World Cup, the towering left-arm speedster ripped through India’s batting line-up, scalping the priced wickets of Rohit, Rahul, and Kohli. He has a slew of tricks under his sleeve, and his pinpoint accuracy makes him a threat in every format.

Shaheen Afridi is carving his way to become an all-format bowler for Pakistan. In 2021, he has had a lot of success, taking 47 wickets in nine Test matches. He was the second highest wicket-taker in this year. Three five-wicket hauls and one ten-wicket haul rounded up his record.

His best performance came against the West Indies in Kingston, where he produced an exhilarating spell of fast bowling. He carried his success in the T20I format into a position as Pakistan’s primary bowler in all three phases of the game.

During the early stages of the game, his ability to swing the ball at a rapid pace makes him lethal. He has a large repertoire of variations, including yorkers and slower ones in the death. This ability makes him extremely dangerous to face anywhere in the world.
