Ranveer Singh emulates MS Dhoni's heroics at St. Moritz in Switzerland

Cricket is set to make a debut on ice. Players from all over the world will be a part of the Ice Cricket challenge in the Swiss Alps. St. Moritz is one of the most famous holiday destinations in the world, it is home to exceptional leisure and sporting facilities and hosts events on the world stage. It will be played over two days starting from February 8.
Innovation at its best
The cricket legends will be put through their toughest challenge under extreme environment. Virender Sehwag, Shahid Afridi, and Wasim Akram are among the many international stars who are set to grace the event with their presence. Bollywood stalwart Ranveer Singh was at his best in “Padmavaat” and the versatile actor even played cricket on ice once and also emulated Indian cricket veteran MS Dhoni.
Ranveer is a sports enthusiast. He is currently the brand ambassador for the English Premier League in India and has attended several international sports events around the world. Just like in his movies, Ranveer delivered a blockbuster performance at St. Moritz too. he 32-year-old faced balls from ace photographer Rohan Shrestha, played the perfect batting strokes and even did commentary in a British accent.
When six runs were required off the last ball, Ranveer emulated Dhoni by stepping front and hitting a massive shot over the long on that cleared the fence with ease. Though the actor did this video for promotion, he was at his best and won thousands of hearts for his commentary and style of play.
The interest in the unique ice cricket tournament is at an all-time high at the moment as the legends of cricket descend at the very venue to play in T10 (ten overs per side) cricket matches on February 8 and 9. Such an event is one of a kind and surely cannot be missed. The most beautiful game in the most beautiful place is the most beautiful thing to watch.
