Rashid Khan adds spice to Suryakumar Yadav's adorable engagement anniversary post for wife
Suryakumar Yadav would be keen to continue his good form ahead of the Sri Lanka tour.
Indian middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav has made a smooth transition to international cricket. Handed out his T20 debut during India’s series against England, Yadav sizzled and amazed everyone with a fearless brand of cricket and scored 51 in his debut innings. The 30-year-old’s hard work and perseverance finally paid off and Yadav now looks a certain pick in India’s limited-overs tour to Sri Lanka.
Apart from being a stylish right-hand batter, Yadav is also known for his constant banter with his teammates. Recently he was in news for mocking Shreyas Iyer’s running technique and also was in news for taking a sly dig at Yuzvendra Chahal.
Now, the 30-year-old is again in news, this time for wishing his wife on the occasion of his engagement anniversary. Yadav had an interesting message and said:
“I love her more than I love my biryani….And always will! @devishashetty_Happy 5th engagement anniversary..love you, forever!” the Mumbai batsman wrote.
Fondly known as SKY, the post got immediate attention from many fans, cricketers, and critics alike who praised the batter for his smart caption. Rashid Khan too quickly jumped into the bandwagon and gave a fitting reply to Yadav.
“Happy anniversary bhai. More than your batting as well?,” asked Rashid, who has proved to be a tough nut to crack for the best batsmen in the world.
Suryakumar Yadav keen to continue his good form ahead of the Sri Lanka tour
With regular players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja set to embark on England tour in June, the fringe players, on the other hand, will get to showcase their skills in Sri Lanka for the white-ball series starting on July 10. The BCCI have not yet announced the squad, but it looks certain that Yadav is one of the candidates for the role of middle-order batter.
Over the last few years, Yadav is in a rich vein of form in IPL as well as domestic tournaments. He can also be used as a fifth bowling option by the captain if he wants as in first-class cricket he has 24 wickets to his name by bowling right-arm medium pace.
