Rashid Khan names Anushka Sharma as one of his favourite Bollywood actresses

Afghanistan’s legendary leg-spinner Rashid Khan is all set to participate in the 2020 edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) for franchise Adelaide Strikers. The cricketer had reached Australia a few days back and is currently serving his 14 days mandatory quarantine period in a hotel room in Australia owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Getting bored in his hotel room, Rashid organised a Q & A (Question and Answer) session on his official Instagram handle where he answered a lot of questions from his fans and followers related to both personal and professional life. During the interaction, a fan asked the leg-spinner about his favourite Bollywood actresses.

To this, the Afghanistan bowler was quick to reply that he likes Kiara Advani, Preity Zinta and Anushka Sharma. Rashid also named Aamir Khan as his favourite Bollywood actor while he chose 3 idiots, Lagaan and Dangal as his favourite Bollywood movies.

Rashid Khan’s Google connection with Anushka Sharma

Interestingly, this is not the first time Rashid has expressed his fondness for Bollywood Diva Anushka Sharma. In fact, a few days back, Rashid had hogged all the limelight and had become favorite meme content on social media along with Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma after Google was showing Anushka Sharma as Rashid’s wife after searching ‘Rashid Khan wife’ on it.

It is a well-known fact that Rashid Khan is only 22 years old and is unmarried. Moreover, Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood Diva, is married to Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. The adorable couple had tied the knot in a private ceremony on December 11 in 2017 in Italy and had also thrown multiple receptions in Delhi and Mumbai to their industry friends.

Google had done this blunder because, in 2018, Rashid had named Anushka and Preity Zinta as his favourite actresses in Bollywood. After this, Rashid Khan had trended so much on social media and in the headlines of news portals that Google has ended up connecting him with Anushka Sharma.

Rashid was last seen in the just-concluded 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) where his IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) finished at the third position after getting defeated by Delhi Capitals in the 2nd Qualifier.
