While Team India was gearing up to take on Bangladesh in the third and final T20I on Sunday, Ravichandran Ashwin decided to interact with his fans. The off-spinner is no more a part of the ODI and the T20I teams. He last donned the famous blue jersey in 2017 and has not earned any recall since then. And any chances of seeing Ashwin playing ODI or T20I in the near future look highly unlikely.
The Tamil Nadu star, in fact, is not an automatic choice in the Test team. Recently on the tour of West Indies, he warmed the bench throughout the series. He finally played his first international game this year during the home series against South Africa and made an immediate impact by picking up seven wickets in his comeback innings.
Coming to Ashwin’s latest activity on Twitter, the spinner decided to have a question and answer session with his followers. As expected, the fans came up with different sorts of questions. But the one that caught everyone’s attention was from none other than his wife, Prithi Ashwin. She hilariously asked the spinner about his plans for wedding anniversary. “wedding anniversary plans tell now #AskAsh #ThatThatManThatThatProblem,” asked Prithi.

Ashwin and Prithi will celebrate their wedding anniversary on November 13. However, they are unlikely to make it a special occasion since the bowler will be in Indore to prepare for the upcoming first Test against Bangladesh. The game will start on November 14 before Eden Gardens hosts the much-awaited second Test from November 22.
New IPL team for Ravi Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin will ply his trade for a new team in the next IPL. Earlier this month, Kings XI Punjab traded him to Delhi Capitals. The decision ended a two-year association between the team and the spinner. Ashwin had led the side in both the seasons but without much success. In both the seasons, Kings XI Punjab failed to progress ahead of the league stage. Ashwin, on the other hand, had a decent outing as he picked up 25 wickets for the team.
