Ravi Shastri has played as many as 80 tests in his career and has scored a total of 3830 runs with 11 test centuries which is also complemented by 151 test wickets. In ODIs, the right handed middle order batsman has registered 3108 runs followed by 129 wickets. Surely, he was a brilliant all-rounder for Indian cricket and also, his fielding was something remarkable as well. Shastri even captained India in a single test against West Indies in 1988 and India went on to win the test by a margin of 255 runs.
