RCB All Stars XI feature Stuart Binny as wicketkeeper

Stuart Binny is an all-rounder by his role of play. Little did he ever expect that he will end up getting the third role of wicketkeeping too in his cricket career. In a recent exhibition match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Stuart Binny and some other Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players featured in the RCB All Stars line-up.

The team took on the winners of the Corporate league, Unisys India. The other cricketers of RCB franchise to feature in the team were Iqbal Abdulla, Sarfaraz Khan, and Sreenath Arvind. The match was played on Sunday evening. Coming to the bigger picture, Stuart Binny was not included in the India squad for either of the ODI and T20I series against England.

He last featured in India colors back in September last year. He played against West Indies at Florida in a T20I. The match does not bring happy memories for the Karnataka allrounder. He was taken away for 32 runs in a single over in that match. This domestic season in the Ranji Trophy, he featured in 9 matches and took 12 wickets to go with his 471 runs.

Speaking more about the match, the corporate league saw the corporate teams battle it out for the coveted trophy. Unisys India managed to beat VMware in the finals of the tournament by 18 runs. The winner got a chance to play the exhibition match against the RCB All Stars. Apart from the 4 RCB players, other players made it to the team through various contests and competition. Video jockey Mr. Nags was one more popular face in the team.
