Ever since the rapid evolution of social media, it has become easier for fans to connect with their favourite celebrities, and also follow up with what they are up to in their life. Indian batsman Rohit Sharma started a question and answer session on his Twitter handle, where several questions were thrown his way by hundreds of supporters.
A Twitter user by the name Bhavesh Kushwaha threw a bouncer to the Mumbai Indians’ batsman, by asking a question which can potentially offend the owners of the franchise. Bhavesh asked Rohit regarding the IPL team, he would he like to play for against the Mumbai franchise.
The flamboyant right-handed batter responded saying that his answer to this question will lead to him getting a call from the Ambanis – the owners of Mumbai Indians. “I’ll get a call from my owners if I answer this question,” replied Rohit to Bhavesh.
I’ll get a call from my owners if I answer this question 😏

Rohit has been with Mumbai Indians since 2011
One of the most naturally-gifted batsmen in the world, Rohit is a prolific run-getter in the shorter formats of the game. The first batsman to strike two double centuries in the ODIs, Sharma was a mainstay in the Deccan Chargers’ batting line-up in the first three seasons of the IPL.
But since 2011, Rohit has been an integral part of the Mumbai Indians, and also took over the team’s captaincy in the 2013 season, in which he led them to their maiden IPL title. In the same year, he also guided the side to the Champions League T20 title. Mumbai Indians, under Rohit’s captaincy, lifted their second Trophy in 2015.
Besides being a great leader, he has also been consistent with his batting. He has 4493 runs from 173 IPL games and was at the peak of his form in 2013 when he scored 538 runs and guided Mumbai to their maiden IPL silverware, both as a great captain and great batsman.
