Rohit Sharma mocks Kuldeep Yadav for his Instagram post and the internet is loving it
The two had quite a banter on Kuldeep's post.
One was overlooked for the England Test series while another did not get an opportunity to play in the first Test against England despite doing well in the preceding T20I and ODI series. All that, accompanied with India’s disappointing 31-run loss in the Edgbaston Test, could not dent the light mood of two Team India colleagues – Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav and their conversation on social media went viral on the internet.
Yadav, the chinaman bowler who registered his career-best figures in both the T20Is and ODIs didn’t find a spot in the XI as Ravichandran Ashwin was the preferred spinner the first Test. He posted a picture of him exploring England on Instagram, saying: “Spending a quiet day just exploring and observing life around me…”

The comments banter
Sharma, who was not picked for the Test series and went to Prague for a vacation with his wife, was quick to pick up on Yadav and took a sarcastic dig at him saying: “Yahi karo tum bas” (You spend time like that without playing cricket).
Yadav replied the senior player saying: “missing your company rohit bhai”.
Team India will play England in the second Test starting at Lord’s on August 9 (Thursday). The visitors had England in the corner on Day 3 of the first Test, reducing them to 87 for 7 after conceding a small lead of 13 runs but couldn’t eventually find the nails to seal the opponents’ fate in the coffin. Riding a gritty show from the tail-enders, England made 180 in their second innings and then bowled out a rickety Indian batting line-up which was in pursuit of 194, for 162.
Only captain Virat Kohli offered resistance to the hosts in the match, scoring 200 runs in the two innings (149 and 51). The Indian team management was also criticised for leaving out Cheteshwar Pujara for the first Test and sticking with three openers for the game. They did something similar in South Africa earlier this year by picking Rohit Sharma ahead of vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane but the move backfired. Sharma has lost his favour as a batsman suitable for the longest format since then.
