Rohit Sharma showered with wishes on his 32nd birthday
Rohit is currently the only batsman with as many as four centuries in the T20I format.
Rohit Sharma made his international debut for India way back in 2007 in an ODI against Ireland in Belfast. He kept representing his national team in quite a few matches, but couldn’t show enough consistency as one would want him to be. Quite expectantly, he was hit with criticism from every nook and corner. That time, he mostly used to bat in the middle order.
However, slowly but surely times changed for the Nagpur-born. Earlier, he used to guilty of playing rash strokes, but gradually, he became more responsible, more so after being given the responsibility of opening the batting. He hasn’t looked behind ever since and has piled on the runs with sheer authority, becoming a headache of whichever opposition he has played against.
Rohit is currently the only batsman with as many as four centuries in the T20I format. He also boasts of the highest ever individual score of 264 not out against Sri Lanka.
