Having lost the first two games, Team India has nothing but pride to play for in the third and last ODI against South Africa. Although the game is a dead rubber, the visitors would like to avoid a series defeat with a win in Cape Town. The bowlers did their job pretty well as South Africa got bundled out for 287 while batting first at the Newlands track.

Chasing the challenging total, India lost skipper KL Rahul with just 18 runs on the board and in walked Virat Kohli. The former skipper steadied the ship alongside Shikhar Dhawan and steadied the ship for India. He even advanced to his second half-century of the series. While fans were delighted to see the batter among the runs, his celebrations left social media heart-whelmed.

Known for his aggressive and animated celebrations, Kohli did a ‘baby-rocking’ celebration, where he looked at her daughter and waved his hand. Kohli’s wife Anushka also seemed delighted with the batter’s performance as she gave a gentle kiss in Vamika’s head. The clip of the moment went viral in no time as fans were left heart-whelmed.

Virat Kohli perished after scoring 65

Meanwhile, Kohli couldn’t go a long way after crossing fifty as he fell prey to Keshav Maharaj for 65. The ball gained extra bounce from the surfaced and the 33-year-old had no answers. As a result, the ball lobed up in the air after making contact with the bat and Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma took an easy catch inside the circle.

Earlier in the match, Quinton de Kock slammed his sixth ODI century against India as the home team got off to a brilliant start. Besides him, Rassie van der Dussen scored an impressive 52. However, the lower-middle order couldn’t come to the party as Indian bowlers did a fine job in the slog overs.

While David Miller scored an entertaining 39, the fall of wickets from the other end didn’t help the Temba Bavuma-led side much. The hosts eventually got skittled out for 287 in the penultimate ball of the innings. In reply, the Men in Blue looked in the hunt for the best part with Kohli, Dhawan and Deepak Chahar scoring fifties. However, the hosts eventually won by four runs, clinching the series 3-0.
