Sachin Tendulkar meets Childhood Tennis Idol Boris Becker: Sachin Tendulkar, the man even after his retirement from cricket continues to be a huge source of inspiration for millions or should I say billions. There was a man this iconic cricketer grew up idolizing. He is not a player from the same sport and rather surprisingly a tennis star Boris Becker.

Becker a six time grandslam champion and the youngest ever champion at the All England Championships Wimbledon. He is currently the coach of world’s no.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic. On Monday both the legends met together and the cricketing demi-god Sachin posted a photo of them together on facebook and the photo soon became viral with abundant likes and was widely shared.

“Guess what? Bumped into a tennis superstar who I admired and grew up watching!!! What a lovely man….,” Tendulkar wrote. Becker also tweeted a picture of him and Tendulkar and applauded the cricketing legend. Sachin has always said that if he wasn’t a cricketer he probably would have pursued a career on tennis and is also friends with the legendary tennis star from Switzerland Roger Federer. An avid tennis fan, Sachin has been in regular attendance for Wimbledon in the past few years.
