Sania Mirza posts heartfelt wishes for husband Shoaib Malik after he completes 10,000 T20 runs

Pakistan’s brilliant batsman Shoaib Malik, on Saturday, became the first Asian player to complete 10,000 runs in T20 cricket. He achieved the feat during the ongoing National T20 Cup in Pakistan. He became the third cricketer in the world to achieve this milestone after Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard. Malik has been named in some of the finest batsmen around the world and by achieving this feat, he has become the talk of the town.
He is playing for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and he smashed 74 off 44 against Balochistan to reach the milestone. After his success, he congratulated the people of Pakistan as he became the first one from the country to have achieved this milestone. He dedicated his success to his parents and wished his father was alive today to feel the moment. He came up to share his happiness on Twitter and wrote,
“I would like to congratulate the people of Pakistan as I am the first Asian cricketer to have reached this milestone of making 10,000 runs in #T20 cricket & I hope I will carry on in the way I have been playing.
I’d like to dedicate this milestone to my parents they’ve always prayed for me. I wish my father was alive today as he would’ve been very happy, but that’s how life is. Whenever I go to the ground I always call my mother before a match & get her prayers.”

Adding in the same moment, Malik’s beloved wife and famous tennis star, Sania Mirza, posted a heartfelt note for her husband. She replied to his Tweet and wrote, “Longevity, patience, hard work, sacrifice and belief @realshoaibmalik so proud”
Shoaib Malik is considered as one of the greatest batsmen to have blessed Pakistan cricket during the span of fourteen years. He has scored 10,027 runs in 395 T20 matches. He maintains an average of 37.41 and a great strike-rate of 125.71. He tied the knot with India’s Tennis star, Sania Mirza in the year 2008.
