Haris Rauf has revealed the advice that he received from his teammate and Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan. Rauf stated that Shadab had advised him to avoid concentrating on what is happening on social media and not bother about what people speak.

The right-arm pacer also said that Shadab asked him to focus on what he is doing and the task at hand. Rauf also admitted that in the T20I format of the game, a bowler might go for runs sometimes and at other times he might scalp a few wickets as well.

“Shadab had told me to avoid social media and not care what people say and to just concentrate on the game and on exactly what I am doing. In T20I cricket, sometimes you bowl well and sometimes you go for runs,” said Haris Rauf after the match between Pakistan and New Zealand.

I always try my best to help the team: Haris Rauf

Haris Rauf further added that he always gives his best every day to help his team, but every match is a different experience. Rauf also admitted that there are matches when a player might perform well and there are matches where a player will have a bad day.

Rauf concluded by stating that he will learn from the mistakes that he has committed in the past and will try not to repeat those mistakes in the upcoming matches that he plays.

“I always try my best to help the team but every day is different. In some matches you perform well and some you don’t. The things you do well, you take with you and where you make mistakes you learn and try not to repeat it in future matches,” concluded Rauf.

Haris Rauf won the Player of the Match award in the match between Pakistan and New Zealand. The 27-year-old picked up 4 wickets in the 4 overs that he bowled and leaked only 22 runs. Rauf has played 25 T20I matches for the Pakistan side and has picked up 33 wickets at an average of 22.70.
