Shakib Al Hasan set to return to Bangladesh leaving the CPL midway

Shakib Al Hasan will not play any further role in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League as he needs to return to Bangladesh. the prolific all-rounder needs to rush back to the country to be a part of the preparations for Bangladesh’s upcoming battle against the mighty Aussies. Shakib is an active part of the Jamaica Tallawahs, and the team will now have to look for a replacement.
Shakib Al Hasan’s departure will pave the way for New Zealand batsman Glenn Phillips. The wicketkeeper is set to replace the Bangladeshi as a part of the Jamaica Tallawahs. Phillips is currently with the team and joined the team on the 8th of August.

Shakib has featured in 3 matches for the Jamaica Tallawahs this season but Mehedi’s Hassan’s luck has not yet taken his side. Hassan is yet to get a cap in this edition of the tournament.
Australia’s tour of Bangladesh:
The Australians will arrive in Dhaka on the 18th of August to prepare themselves for the series. The extreme heated up conditions will be a tough challenge for the Kangaroos as they look forward to the Tigers test. the two match Test series is set to kick off on the 27th of August at the Shere-E-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
The Bangladeshi players are oozing with confidence ahead of the tour. Previously a few members of the team stated that they are capable of beating the Australians under any circumstances. Bangladesh had a brilliant home series against England last year which ended in a draw. Bangladesh came back strong in the second Test to win it and level the series 1-1. The Bangladesh team will be led by wicketkeeper-batsman, Mushfiqur Rahim.
