Shane Warne reveals the reason for his break up with Elizabeth Hurley: The Australian legend Shane Warne has accomplished several feats in the game of cricket as he annihilated batsmen with his impeccable bowling. Few years ago his engagement with Elizabeth Hurley made the news. Elizabeth was an English actress and model who gained recognition for her performance in the American film ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’. But their relationship was short lived as they parted ways after spending 3 years together.

Recently Shane Warne has let the cat out of the bag when he spoke to the The Times magazine. He said that: “Relationships are hard. Really hard. They shouldn’t be, but they are. Tough. Always an interesting dinner conversation: are two people meant to be together for the rest of their lives?”

Despite retiring from international cricket Warne remained occupied. He kept himself involved in cricket as he started to do commentary. Elizabeth was engaged in movies and TV shows. He confessed that their busy schedule got in the way of their relationship.

“When we first met, she was basically not doing anything. She was a farmer. And I had retired from international cricket. But then Elizabeth went back to work, shooting movies and TV series. I was playing cricket and poker.”

“She was going to America, doing her breast cancer awareness stuff for Estee Lauder. I had my poker, I had cricket commentary. I had children in Australia, so just putting all that into the mix. The number of whiteboards we had about travelling,” Warne added.

He also hinted that there were other reasons for their break up other than their restless work routine as he said, “So the reason we split up, it wasn’t just scheduling. It just shouldn’t be that hard,”
