Pakistan’s breakthrough year
2017 has been a breakthrough year for Pakistan more as a limited overs side as they won the coveted ICC Champions Trophy against all the odds. They won all the games after losing haplessly to India in their first league game and thumped their arch-rivals in the final to win the tournament. Sarfraz Ahmed, the new skipper, has been leading the side from the front as the team is gelling well under him. They would love to keep their spirits high and beat the Kiwis in their own den during the upcoming tour.
