Shoaib Malik turns back the clock; Sania Mirza awestruck
Sania also mentioned that she can't wait for her loved one to return home.
Pakistani batsman Shoaib Malik is currently gearing up for the 2018 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), starting today. Pakistan, captained by Sarfraz Ahmed, are scheduled to play their first encounter tomorrow against Hong Kong at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the 36-year-old is expected to be a vital cog in the national team’s setup.
Last time around, the Sialkot-born cricketer scored 121 runs at an average of 60 and will be keen to contribute handsomely for his team. Recently, he also announced his retirement from ODI cricket after playing next year’s 50-over Cricket World Cup in England and Wales. Back in November 2015, the experienced campaigner hung his boots from Test cricket after the series against England.
Shoaib shaves his beard
In the meantime, apart from focussing on cricket, he has also been grooming himself as far as his looks are concerned. Recently, he shaved his bearded and got himself a funky look for the upcoming T20 event in the UAE after taking the Break The Beard challenge. Moreover, he acknowledged his better-half Sania Mirza for suggesting him the same.
He took to Instagram and uploaded a video of his refreshed look. Malik captioned the video and wrote, “Begum jo bole woh right! This look is for you @mirzasaniar and a surprise at the end for the little one. #summerlook #breakthebeard #asiacup.”

She captioned the video and wrote, “Awww. Well ‘we’ can’t wait for you to come back home. This has surely turned the clock back for you hubby. #timemachine #breakthebeard#lovethenewlook #beautifulface indeed. #Repost @realshoaibmalik with @get_repost.”
