It’s been almost six months since the Indian cricketers haven’t played any form of cricket. The massive coronavirus pandemic has made sure that the players stay indoors with their family and loved ones. However, even as they haven’t been able to play the sport, the cricketers have made sure to take care of their well-being, both physical and mental, pretty effectively.

From Team India, Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli flooded the social media platforms with videos, giving a glimpse of their stupendous levels of fitness. In those clips, the duo can be seen, performing hop push-ups without much of a trouble. Virat and Pandya are amongst the fitness Indian cricketers and it can be comprehended from the chiselled body they have.

Iyer goes one step above

While Pandya and Virat performed the push-ups on the ground, Shreyas Iyer raised the difficulty level of the same. The 25-year-old from Mumbai did the same on a set of sofas. From the sofas, he made the first jump on the ground after which he jumped back on to the sofas. The talented right-handed batsman didn’t forget to post the video on his official Twitter handle.

Here’s Shreyas Iyer’s video: –

Iyer has a massive task at hand, being the captain of the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was named as their skipper midway through the 2018 season and he led the team to the Qualifier 2 in 2019, losing to the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He also has been a prolific run-scorer for them in the middle-order.

As far as Virat and Hardik goes, the duo have also played a crucial part for their respective teams- Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Mumbai Indians (MI). Virat has already reached the United Arab Emirates (UAE), hoping to give RCB their maiden IPL title since 2008.

The 31-year-old is also the all-time highest run-scorer in the tournament with five tons. As far as Pandya is concerned, he has had to go through a number of injury concerns over the last 12 months or so and will be looking for some decent shows, both with bat and ball.
