Smriti Mandhana can score a double century in ODIs, Sophie Devine is the toughest to bowl, says Poonam Yadav

Poonam Yadav, the leg spinner hogged the headlines with her brilliant bowling in the recently concluded Women’s T20 World Cup. She did a great job with the ball in the mega event. And, when there is no cricket due to the Coronavirus outbreak, she has become more active on social media. The Indian women cricketer was recently asked which player can smack double century in Women’s cricket to which Poonam came up with a pleasant reply backing her teammate Smriti Mandhana to achieve the feat.

Poonam made her international debut back in 2014 and since then she has turned herself into the lead spinner, who makes the bunny out of the batter on the back of her lethal spin bowling. So far she has grabbed a total of 170 international wickets. In the recently concluded World Cup in Australia, she set the stage on fire with her leg-break bowling.

Poonam Yadav ended up being the leading wicket-taker from Team India with 10 wickets in 5 games. She received lots of praise and applauds from every nook and corner across the globe for bowling exceedingly well in the tournament.

A fan questioned her which player can hit a double ton in ODIs in women from Team India. Soon, Poonam Yadav replied saying that Smriti Mandhana is one of the players, who can smack a double century in ODIs. She wrote in her reply, “I think @mandhana_smriti. What do you think?#AskPY.”

Another fan questioned about the toughest batter she has bowled until now. The fan’s post read,”@poonam_yadav24 Who is the toughest batter you have bowled so far? #AskPY.” The Indian leggie replied that Sophie Devine from New Zealand is the toughest batter she has ever bowled in her career.
