In a serendipitous encounter amid the high-octane clash of cricketing giants during the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistani actor Momin Saqib, famed for his viral "Maaro Mujhe Maaro" dialogue during the 2019 WC, crossed paths with India's star cricketer, Suryakumar Yadav, who was celebrating his 33rd birthday.

Saqib, whose passion for cricket knows no bounds, is a familiar face at Indo-Pak encounters on the cricket field. As destiny would have it, he found himself in the close proximity of cricketing legends in Sri Lanka, where the Asia Cup drama unfolded.

The Pakistani actor passionately advocates for fostering a spirit of amicability between India and Pakistan. In his heartfelt videos, he expresses a fervent desire to witness cricket matches between the two nations taking place on their home turfs, allowing fans the joy of watching their beloved players compete in familiar conditions. It's worth noting that Saqib, in addition to his cricket fervour, is an educator and is currently residing in London, United Kingdom.

In a Twitter video shared by him, he showered praise on India’s very own Mr. 360 for his innovative flair in the game. The video captured a heartwarming moment as the two gentlemen embraced in a gesture of camaraderie. Saqib's words encapsulated the essence of the modern cricketing era, saying,

“The current day and age of cricket requires innovation and sky is indeed one of the finest in the game! See you in the final. I always appreciate the love and respect I get from the Indian players!” Saqib wrote on Twitter.

On the cricketing front, the right-handed batter showcased his agility and skills during the Asia Cup 2023. In a recent encounter against Sri Lanka on September 12, he took two crucial catches, dismissing Kusal Mendis and Maheesh Theekshana, while serving as a sub-fielder. India emerged victorious in that gripping contest, securing a 41-run win, and subsequently, a berth in the Asia Cup 2023 final.
