'Abhi mai bacha hun' - Shadab Khan gives savage reply to Hasan Ali's tweet talking about all-rounder's wedding
Shadab Khan finished as Pakistan's joint-highest wicket-taker in the T20 World Cup 2022 along with Shaheen Afridi with 11 scalps to his name.
Pakistan vice-captain Shadab Khan is at the peak of his cricketing career and is focusing on getting better in his profession. Such has been his dedication level that he has no time to think about settling down in personal life. Lately, Shadab has made it clear that he is too young to get married and in a hilarious manner has urged people not to ask any questions related to his wedding.
The spin bowling all-rounder made his stand clear on social media after his Pakistani teammate Hasan Ali decided to pull his leg when a photo of skipper Babar Azam and Hasan having some serious discussion during a local tournament became viral.
Hasan Ali decides to have fun at Shadab Khan’s expense
Reacting to the shared Twitter post featuring him and Babar, Hasan Ali jokingly went on to mention that basically they were discussing about Shadab Khan’s wedding, but the Pakistan skipper ended up saying, “Vo ni honi”. Hasan concluded by tagging Shadab.
As soon as this tweet came to the leggie’s notice, he replied saying, “Aap logo ko be Lagta ha ka main boht bara ho gaya houn. Sab mere say shadi ka puchte hain. Abhi mai bacha hun.”
Shadab has been one of Pakistan's valuable assets this year especially in the shortest format which saw him performing consistently well both with the bat and ball in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2022. He finished as Pakistan's joint-highest wicket-taker along with pace spearhead Shaheen Afridi with 11 scalps to his tally. Khan made it matter in the final against England at the MCG scoring a crucial 20 runs off 14 deliveries as the Men in Green posted 137/8 on the board.
Hasan Ali on the other hand has not been in the scheme of things of the Pakistani national selectors and the team management for a while owing to inconsistent performances which saw him excluded from the T20 World Cup squad. Ali is also not a part of the Pakistan Test squad for the England series and is currently participating in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
