Anrich Nortje’s daughter Amelia’s reaction goes viral after Pretoria Capitals’ SA20 2025 loss
Nortje's daughter's 'Oh No!' reaction captures hearts during Pretoria Capitals' defeat.
Fans often react in disappointment after their team ends on the losing side in a cricket match. A similar thing happened during the SA 2025 match, however, not only did it seem heartbreaking but also adorable at the same time. Notably, the reaction of a little Pretoria Capitals fan went viral during the clash. She gave a disappointing reaction after seeing her team lose in a thrilling high-scoring game against Paarl Royals.
The incident happened during Match 11 of the SA20 league, which took place at the SuperSport Park, in Centurion. Capitals had scored 212 runs in the first innings thanks to the great knocks from Will Smeed (54 off 34 deliveries) and Kyle Verreynne (45 off 23 deliveries). Though the side managed to start well with a wicket of the first ball of the second innings, the second wicket partnership between Joe Root and Rubin Hermann took the game away from Capitals.
Skipper David Miller provided the finishing touches needing eight runs from the final over of the match which was bowled by James Neesham. After the loss final ball, the fan came up with an epic "Oh No!" reaction, as she was spotted putting her hands on her in disappointment. Fascinating enough, the young fan turned out to be Amelia Nortje, who is the daughter of South Africa pacer, Anrich Nortje.
Though Nortje is not playing in the tournament and has even been ruled out of the Champions Trophy due to a back injury, it seems like his daughter has the same passion as her father and was supporting his team even in his absence.

Capitals going through dismal SA20 2025 season
Speaking of Pretoria Capitals, the franchise has picked a solitary win in the first five matches of the tournament with two losses and two no-result games as well. The Rilee Roussouw-led side would want to get their season on track in the second half of the SA20. Currently, PC are placed fifth in the points table.
