Virat Kohli is one of those characters who is not shy of revealing his emotions and his epic reaction to Suryakumar Yadav's knock in the game against Hong Kong certainly grabbed a lot of attention. The Mumbaikar, Suryakumar, provided a strong finish by scoring 26 off the final over and got India to a massive total. The 31-year-old remained unbeaten on 68 off 26 balls with six sixes in his breathtaking knock.
In fact, Kohli was quite impressed with Suryakumar’s show with the bat and he did not even want the strike on the final over which showed the amount of confidence he had on the latter. After the innings, Kohli bowed down to Suryakumar to acknowledge the special knock from the MI batter. While returning to the pavilion, Kohli waved at the dressing room and looked awe struck with the innings from Suryakumar.
His eyes rolled up and 'Kya Hai Yeh?' were the only words that came out of Kohli’s mouth after the blistering innings.

Meanwhile, the whole Indian team came up with a standing ovation for Suryakumar after his brutal knock and the skipper Rohit was also delighted with the stroke play. He mentioned that Suryakumar has been producing innings of that kind from time to time and felt that the confidence of the latter has been roaring up.
"Honestly the kind of innings that [Suryakumar] played today, the words will be short. Every now and then, he comes up with such kind of knocks. With the confidence he's got, he's going to come out and bat fearlessly, and some of the shots he played today, they are not in the books," skipper Rohit praised Suryakumar for his brutal knock in the post-match conference.
Kohli and Suryakumar stitched an unbeaten 98 run partnership for the third wicket and it played a big part in India’s victory by 40 runs against Hong Kong in Match 4.
