After his intense gym session last week, batting megastar Virat Kohli was lately seen sweating it out in the nets just a couple of days before the first international between India and Bangladesh, which is scheduled to be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Kohli, who was given a well-deserved break for the just-concluded New Zealand series, seemed rejuvenated during the practice session where he showed a glimpse of his preparations to his fans and well-wishers on social media.

On his latest Instagram post, a still of Kohli can be seen middling the ball well in the nets which hints that he might be in the perfect frame of mind ahead of the upcoming bilateral series.

Meanwhile, the batting icon who roared back to form in T20Is this year would now be hoping to replicate similar performances in the 50-overs format as well. His last ODI century had come way back in August 2019 during an away series against the West Indies and Kohli would be hoping to register his 44th ton in the One Day Internationals.

Meanwhile, the ODIs will be followed by a two-match Test series where the 34-year-old would also be looking to score his 28th Test century. Should Kohli score a century in any of the five matches on this tour, he will go past the legendary Australian skipper Ricky Ponting's tally of 71 international tons. Kohli is currently tied at the second spot on this elite list and is only behind Sachin Tendulkar, who has 100 international centuries to his name.

Virat Kohli would be heading into this bilateral series oozing with confidence, having finished as the highest run-getter of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. He finished with 296 runs from six matches including four half-centuries.
