The SunRisers Eastern Cape will walk onto the field as the defending champions of the competition. Having won the previous two editions of the league, the SunRisers are preparing to make it a hat-trick of titles, with the action set to kick off on January 9, 2025. The side will be powered by the local heroes, including the skipper Aiden Markram and Klaasen.

Klaasen featured in the promo video wearing a quirky, oversized costume. Joining him was Miller, another South African T20 specialist, who was seen in an equally comical getup.
