India spinner Kuldeep Yadav is in remarkable form at the moment. The spin wizard helped the national team win the Asia Cup following which, the team management decided to give him a rest from the first two ODIs against Australia. He is slated to make his return in the third match in Rajkot.

In the meantime, the 28-year-old is spending time watching football. Known as an ardent supporter of football club Manchester United, Kuldeep shared that he is relieved with the team’s 1-0 win over Burnley in the ongoing Premier League. He also pointed out that passing is one such area where the team needs to improve massively.

Meanwhile, replying to his post, one of the X users took a dig at him and his parents for their recent visit to Bageshwar Dham. The comment didn’t sit well with the spinner as he replied back saying that there is no point in demanding someone else and also advised him to stay positive in life.

“Bache dusro ko nicha dikhane se kuch ni hoga apne me dhyan de aur life me positive rah

Baki khush rahe Hamesha,” Kuldeep tweeted.

Kuldeep Yadav's dream run continues

On the other hand, Kuldeep picked up nine wickets in five matches in the Asia Cup courtesy of which, he was adjudged as Player of the Tournament. He was exceptional and economical, which is a good sign for the team ahead of the ODI World Cup. Along with Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep is expected to take control of the spin department in the mega tournament.

In the third ODI, if he makes his return to the playing XI, the cricketer is likely to replace Ravichandran Ashwin. The veteran picked up one wicket in the first match of the series but was good with the line and length. Other than Kuldeep, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya too will be making their return in the final ODI of the series.
