Former Australia batter David Warner turned 37 years old on October 27, 2024. On his special day, wishes poured in from all across the world. Many former and current cricketers took to social media and wished Warner on his birthday.

Interestingly, among the many wishers, one of the most famous personalities was none other than the South Indian superstar and actor, Allu Arjun. Warner is known to be a big fan of Arjun. This can be understood by the fact that the former international cricketer is often seen replicating the actor’s famous step from one of his movies while being in the field as well. On his Instagram story, Arjun shared a picture of Warner and wished him a happy birthday.

“Many Many happy returns of the day to my brother,” Allu Arjun captioned his post.

I am always available: Warner

Throughout the course of his international career, David Warner proved to be an exceptional player for the Australian team. The 37-year-old played 383 international matches throughout his career across formats and scored a whopping 18,995 runs to his name.

He played his last Test match in Sydney when Australia took on Pakistan in the early stages of January 2024. However, despite having announced retirement, Warner recently admitted to being available to play for Australia should the need arise.

"I am always available, just got to pick up the phone. I am always dead serious. Let's be honest, the guys have played one red-ball game since their last Test matches in February, so I've almost had the same preparation. Honestly, if they needed me for this series, I'm more than happy to play the next Shield game and go out there and play," Warner told Code Sports recently.

It is worth noting that Australia is preparing for the Border-Gavaskar Series 2024-25, and the side will kick off the series by taking on India in the first Test on November 22. However, seeing India’s current form, the Aussies would be hopeful of clinching back the trophy.
