Ben Stokes' England had a promising start to their tour of India, securing a victory in the first Test in Hyderabad. However, the visitors faltered in capitalising on the momentum, eventually succumbing to a 4-1 loss. Despite displaying glimpses of brilliance, England's missed opportunities in the third and fourth Tests proved costly.

The series marked the first defeat for the Ben Stokes-led team under head coach Brendon McCullum. While England's bowlers managed to take 20 Indian wickets in the initial two matches, they struggled to maintain the same level of performance in the remaining three encounters, allowing India's batters to gain the upper hand.

We feel like 4-1 was undeserved really: Ollie Robinson

Reflecting on the series loss, Ollie Robinson expressed his belief that the 4-1 scoreline was undeserved, citing the quality of cricket played by his team and their potential to become the best in the world.

“A catch I dropped in the fourth Test would have helped us but, no, we feel like 4-1 was undeserved really. We played some really good cricket and maybe on another tour it could have been 3-2 to us, who knows?” Robinson told Sky Sports News.

“But the brand of cricket that we’re playing is really good to watch for fans and good to play in. I think we’re close to being the best in the world, to be honest. A few one percenters here and there and we can dominate the world of cricket,” he added.

It was these comments that caught the attention of Iceland Cricket, prompting their cheeky response. "Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right," they tweeted, mocking Robinson's assessment of the series outcome.
