India dominated the first two Tests of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The visitors looked helpless throughout the two matches as team India continued to oppress the batting attack of the Aussies.
The performances of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Axar Patel were integral for India, as they retained the Border Gavaskar Trophy after winning the first two matches of the series. The trio of Jadeja, Ashwin, and Axar not only performed with the ball, but were also impressive with the bat, notching up some much-needed runs for their side lower down the order.
Ahead of the third Test, the Indian team was seen practising in the nets. BCCI took to Twitter to share glimpses of the training session that the batters underwent. Skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul were seen practising in the nets.

"Snapshots from #TeamIndia's training session here in Indore ahead of the third Test match against Australia," the BCCI captioned the pictures on Twitter.
Team India will once again be riddled with choosing between KL Rahul and Shubman Gill
The selection of the Indian playing XI against Australia has been under heavy scrutiny. Mostly because KL Rahul was named opener instead of the in-form Shubman Gill. 23-year-old Gill has been in sensational form of late, and many experts opined that he should be India's first choice to open the innings alongside Rohit Sharma against Australia.
Team India, on the other hand, chose KL Rahul as the opener over Gill. A decision that has not worked in their favour so far. In the first Test, Rahul only managed to score 20 runs off 71 deliveries. The second Test was not fruitful for Rahul either; as he scored 17 and one run across the two innings.
Despite KL Rahul not being able to perform, the hosts managed to win the matches and retain the series. The third Test of the series will be held at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on March 1. Australia will look towards putting up a better game as they continue to find ways to bounce back.
