Notably, the three batters are relishing a fine campaign as they are the leading run getters for the side in the ongoing IPL 2023. Skipper Faf currently holds the IPL Orange Cap with 631 runs in 12 matches, lacing it with seven half-centuries.

On the other hand, Maxwell has displayed his lethal best on numerous occasions which has helped him collect 384 runs in 12 appearances with five half-centuries. Despite being criticized on his peculiar batting approach, Kohli has amassed 438 runs in 12 matches, featuring six fifties at an average of 39.82.

RCB eyeing for playoff berth

Meanwhile, Faf du Plessis and Co. are placed fifth on the IPL Points Table, courtesy of six wins and as many losses at a Net Run Rate of 0.166. With just two more games to go in their group phase campaign, the Men in Red and Gold will be gunning to obtain comprehensive wins so as to cement their berth in the playoffs.

The side plays their final away fixture against Hyderabad before heading back to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru for the clash against defending champions, Gujarat Titans. Notably, Hardik Pandya’s Titans were the first team to clinch the Qualifier 1 berth in the playoffs.
