Delhi Capitals' (DC) fielder Jake Fraser-McGurk took a stunning catch to dismiss the dangerous Aniket Verma in the ongoing clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2025. It might be a contender for the 'Catch of the Season' for the kind of effort the fielder made in the deep mid-wicket region.

Verma was striking the ball well, going after every DC bowler. However, his rampaging innings was cut short by Kuldeep Yadav, who bowled a slow short ball. Verma, who had just hit a six off the previous delivery, struck the ball really hard. Fraser-McGurk ran to his right, timing his jump to perfection to take the stellar catch.

The SRH batter had to return to the pavilion after a fantastic show with the bat. The Jhansi-born scored 74 runs off 41 balls, a knock which included five fours and six maximums. The innings played a crucial role in helping SRH put up a respectable score on the board.
