IPL 2025: Best Catch of the Match - Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals, Match 23

A stunning grab by Yashasvi Jaiswal at backward square leg saw Rashid Khan making his way back to the pavilion during Match 23 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday, April 9. The top-order batter reacted quickly; running to his right and holding onto the ball by diving full length.

A short-of-a-length delivery by Tushar Deshpande was attempted to be cheekily played towards the deep backward square leg fence by Rashid Khan. However, Jaiswal, who was situated in the 30-yard cycle, did not let the ball go towards the boundary via a truly special effort. The Afghan bowling all-rounder departed for 12 off four deliveries.

GT ended their innings on 217/6 after Sai Sudharsan led the way with a special 53-ball 82-run knock. The impressive innings comprised eight fours and three sixes. Jos Buttler and Shahrukh Khan's respective 36s proved quite vital too. Rahul Tewatia remained unbeaten on 24 off 12 deliveries.

Jofra Archer was the most economical bowler for RR. He ended up with spectacular figures of 1/30 in four overs. Deshpande and Maheesh Theekshana ended up securing two wickets apiece, however, they conceded 53 and 54 runs, respectively.
