The gusto of India's biggest cricket showdown is inching closer day by day and fans along with cricket experts are already speculating the potential retention of the 10 teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL). On Tuesday night, the popular IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), dropped a major hint on their possible retentions a day ahead of the IPL retentions deadline.
Notably, the last date aka deadline for the IPL retentions given to the teams is October 31. Hence, the temperature is soaring high regarding the top contenders and sure-shot retentions especially after the new rules and regulations were put forth by the governing council. After MS Dhoni recently cleared the air on his participation in the upcoming IPL 2025 season, CSK posted a tweet on their social media and stirred excitement and seas of guesses regarding their final possible retentions. Going by their post, it was indicated that Chennai are moving close to five retentions while keeping the Right to Match card (RTM) intact.
The post indicated some hints in the form of emojis which were displaying rowing boats, helicopters, horse riding and so forth. Although it was hard to guess and come up with precise names, fans believe that the helicopter definitely hints towards MS Dhoni donning the Yellow jersey yet again. The emojis like Kiwi fruit indicated a New Zealand player and it was either Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway. Interstingly, the emojis of swords and horses pointed towards the name of Ravindra Jadeja. The reason? Fans very well know that whenever Jadeja scores a fifty or beyond he celebrates with his bat waving like a sword. Moreover, he also loves horseriding as well.
