India's cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar heaped praise on Mumbai Indians' (MI) premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah, following his Player of the Match performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2024 on April 11. MI, led by Hardik Pandya, secured their second consecutive win, outplaying RCB by seven wickets despite making an unpromising start to their campaign.

The 'Master Blaster' extended his congratulations to MI for their remarkable win, underlining the significance of Bumrah's performance and the bowler's prowess in the format. The 50-year-old went on to praise Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav for their fierce batting approach to win the game on their home ground. He also lauded the MI skipper for finishing the game in style.

"Two wins on the trot now for @mipaltan after a tricky start to the tournament. @Jaspritbumrah93 was sensational, once again proving why he's the best in the business," Tendulkar wrote on X.

@ImRo45 and @ishankishan51's fearless batting during the powerplay overs effectively reduced the required run rate. It was good to see @surya_14kumar hitting the ball so sweetly after his injury layoff. Lovely to have him back in the team, playing in top gear. @hardikpandya7 finishing the game off in style was the icing on the cake. #MIvRCB #IPL2024," he added.
