'Just couldn't wait for November 5 to wish you' - Shahnawaz Dahani gives advance birthday wishes to 'GOAT' Virat Kohli
'Happy Birthday, Goat," wrote Dahani on Twitter.
Come November 5, team India superstar batter Virat Kohli will turn 34, but the wishes have already started pouring in for the modern-day great. The right-handed batter has been in emphatic touch in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 and will look to continue his good form ahead as well.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's pacer Shahnawaz Dahani took to his official Twitter account to send his wishes across to the "GOAT". The speedster confessed that he could not wait for November 5 (Kohli's birthday) and tweeted the wish in advance.
Enjoy your day brother and keep entertaining the world: Dahani wrote on Twitter
“Just couldn't wait for 5th Nov to wish the artist who made cricket the most beautiful. Happy birthday @imVkohli the #GOAT. Enjoy your day brother & Keep entertaining the world,” Dahani wrote on his official Twitter account.
Both India and Pakistan will play their final group-stage encounter of the T20 World Cup on November 6 (Sunday). While team India will take on Zimbabwe in their final game, the Men in Green will face Bangladesh in their last group-stage encounter.
India are currently on the top of the points table and will remain there if they defeat Zimbabwe in their last game. However, if they lose, then they will require either Netherlands to beat South Africa or Bangladesh to win against Pakistan by a margin that does not let Bangladesh get ahead of India on NRR.
On the other hand, Pakistan will desperately want either India or South Africa to lose their last group stage encounter and then beat Bangladesh themselves in their last Super 12 match to have the best chances of qualifying for the semi-finals.
