Star Indian wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul announced the arrival of actress Athiya Shetty and his child through an endearing collage of the two, with Athiya's baby bump being prominently visible in all four of the intimate images. The power couple has been married since January 23, 2023.
The tweet was uploaded by Rahul on the evening of Wednesday, March 12. The comments section was filled with members of the cricket fraternity and his ardent supporters wishing the couple luck as they embark on this new chapter as parents. Notably, the dashing batter's adorable post on his social media has been garnering a lot of love and affection since it was uploaded on his social handle.
"Oh, baby!" Rahul wrote on his official 'X' handle along with some emojis.
For the unversed, the mother-to-be and Rahul married after dating for more than three years. There have been many instances of the two spending their off-time together, and they have quite rapidly become a power couple as far as the celebrity industry is concerned.

Rahul played crucial role in finishing matches for India during Champions Trophy
Coming to Rahul's cricketing endeavours, he recently won the Champions Trophy 2025 with India in Dubai. In the four innings he featured in with the bat, Rahul finished unbeaten on three occasions, with the group-stage game against New Zealand being the only time he was dismissed. Whenever called upon to bat, the seasoned professional played with the utmost maturity and composure. He also had a decent outing with the gloves, securing five catches and one stumping.
As far as his Indian Premier League 2025 campaign is concerned, he will be representing Delhi Capitals. The IPL great was released by Lucknow Super Giants after spending three seasons with the 2022-born franchise. He was acquired by DC for INR 14 crore, making him their most expensive signing of the season. It will be intriguing to see how the Indian cricketer performs for the franchise.
