Meanwhile, the cricketer was seen visiting the Sree Siddaganga Mutt in Tumkur, Karnataka. Rahul was ruled out of the second and third Tests due to discomfort in his right quadriceps, following which, Devdutt Padikkal was named as his replacement for the third Test.
The 31-year-old was seen visiting the temple along with his parents for the darshan and religious rituals. Fans present at the temple mobbed the cricketer after recognising him when he was heading to his car.
The third Test witnessed a stellar performance by Team India, securing a monumental 434-run victory, despite the absence of key players like Rahul and Virat Kohli. Rahul was at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to get back to his full fitness.

The Lucknow Super Giants' captain is an important player in the Indian batting line-up and his absence was certainly felt during the last two test matches. In the Hyderabad Test, the Karnataka cricketer scored an impressive 86 in the first innings. His potential return could provide the team with the much-needed stability and experience, especially in crucial junctures of the Test match.
There are reports that Jasprit Bumrah who has been on a run for a while now, might be given rest for the next Test. Rajat Patidar who made his debut in the second Test might be sidelined due to his poor show. India might look to add Axar Patel back to the team as an extra spinner and a lower-order batter.
