‘Let’s get support from India’ - Rishabh Pant posts tweet in support of India’s Neeraj Chopra
"Let’s get support from india and outside the world for my brother,” Pant tweeted.
India’s Neeraj Chopra has kept India’s hopes for a gold medal alive at the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympics. Chopra qualified for the javelin throw finals with an exceptional 89.34 m throw in the qualifier round. Neeraj Chopra will take centre stage once more as he goes for the gold on August 8.
Star India batter Rishabh Pant recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and made an offer to his followers. Pant posted that if Neeraj Chopra manages to win the gold medal at the Paris Olympics, he will be giving INR 1,000,89 to any lucky winner who likes and comments the most on the tweet. Furthermore, he promised flight tickets for the rest of the top 10 users who interact with the tweet.
“If Neeraj chopra win a gold medal tomorrow. I will pay 100089 Rupees to lucky winner who likes the tweet and comment most . And for the rest top 10 people trying to get the attention will get flight tickets. Let’s get support from india and outside the world for my brother,” Pant wrote on his 'X' handle.
Speaking of India’s performance at the Paris Olympics so far, the country has won three bronze medals so far. Manu Bhaker provided India with its first bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol, whereas she and Sarabjot Singh won a bronze in the mixed team event as well. Furthermore, Swapnil Kusale took home the bronze medal in the 50-meter rifle. Also, India is assured of a silver medal after Vinesh Phogat reached the wrestling final as well.

Pant is currently touring Sri Lanka with Team India for limited-overs series
Meanwhile, speaking of Rishabh Pant, the star wicketkeeper batter has been touring Sri Lanka as the Men in Blue are currently engaged in a white-ball series with the island nation. Having won the T20I series 0-3, Team India did not have the best of starts in the ODI series.

Notably, the first ODI of the series ended in a tie, with Sri Lanka registering a win in the second game. Pant is yet to feature for the visitors in the ODI series, and he could make a comeback in the side as the third ODI rolls around.
