The third season of the Legends League Cricket is being thoroughly enjoyed by fans as they’re getting to see their favourite cricketing stars back in action. The veterans of international cricket have lit up the competition with their stupendous performances on the field making fans nostalgic about their playing days.

Match four of the tournament played between Asia Lions and India Maharajas on Tuesday, March 14 at West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha was another action-packed encounter. During the first innings of the game, a brilliant catch by former Indian seamer Irfan Pathan made headlines.

After being put in to bat first, Asia Lions got off to a rollicking start with openers Upul Tharanga and Tillakaratne Dilshan adding 73 off 52 balls. As India Maharajas were desperately looking for a breakthrough, Dilshan cut a delivery by Stuart Binny in the ninth over of the innings.

The ball went straight to Pathan, who was stationed at short third man and he took a marvellous low catch on his right. What made the moment even more epic was Pathan’s celebration. He held the pose as he fell down and laid on the grass with a swagger tossing the ball in the air.
