Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma turned 35 years old on Monday, May 1. With wishes pouring in for the actress across social media, her husband and ace India batter, Virat Kohli, took to Instagram to share a beautiful post on her special day as well.
Kohli posted seven adorable pictures of his wife along with a sweet message on her special day. Both tied the knot back on December 11, 2017 and have been one of the most popular power couples in the country over the years. With Kohli currently competing in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Anushka has often been seen cheering the batting maestro during RCB games.
"Love you through thick, thin and all your cute madness. Happy birthday, my everything," Kohli captioned the post along with seven pictures of Anushka on his Instagram handle.
Virat Kohli continues to impress at the IPL 2023
Coming on the back of good form in international cricket, Virat Kohli has come into his own in the ongoing IPL 2023. With 333 runs in eight games so far, Kohli has been one of the front runners for the IPL Orange Cap. Maintaining a strike rate of 142.31 and an average of 47.57 runs, Kohli has once again been one of the most important players for his side.
Having scored five half-centuries at the tournament already, the 34-year-old has been tormenting the opposition bowlers with his sublime knocks. In his recent game against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Kohli scored a brilliant 54 runs in just 37 deliveries. Despite his knock being in vain and Royal Challengers Bangalore eventually losing the game, the side would hope for even more sensational performances from the Indian batter.
With eight points in just as many games, Bangalore finds itself in sixth place in the IPL points table. The side would look to register some much-needed wins in their forthcoming matches to keep their hopes for playoff qualification alive. For their next game, Bangalore takes on the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants in the 43rd game of the tournament on Monday, May 1.
