Manoj Tiwary acquires BCCI Level 2 coaching degree with distinction
'I am now ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ to appear for the BCCI level 3 as well," Manoj Tiwary said.
Former Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary has taken a major step in his post-playing career by earning the prestigious BCCI Level 2 coaching degree with distinction. The former India batter, who has donned multiple hats throughout his career, expressed his joy upon achieving this feat. His successful completion of the certification now makes him eligible to pursue the Level 3 coaching degree in the future.
Tiwary announced the news of his successful completion of this course on his social media accounts. He thanked the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) for recommending him and acknowledged the guidance of VVS Laxman, Sujith Somasundar, Apurva Desai, and Sanjay Mullasseri, among others, in helping him achieve this feat. He also revealed that he is now excited to take the challenge of completing the BCCI Level-3 Coaching.
The BCCI Level 2 coaching certification is a rigorous program designed to prepare for mentoring and developing future talent. The course covers a range of topics, including skill acquisition, biomechanics, video analysis, and personal development. The National Cricket Academy (NCA) has been conducting these programs to facilitate the transition of former cricketers into coaching roles.
Tiwary's cricketing career has been a mix of highs and lows. Despite limited opportunities at the international level, he made valuable contributions in the domestic circuit. Having scored over 10,000 First-Class runs at an average of nearly 48, including 30 centuries, Tiwary was a key member of Bengalโs batting unit for years.
Under his leadership, Bengal reached the Ranji Trophy final in the 2022-23 season. Apart from domestic cricket, Tiwary has also been part of various IPL franchises, including the Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Rising Pune Supergiant, and Punjab Kings.
