Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was recently asked whether he can do YouTube videos and the legendary wicketkeeper-batter candidly admitted that he won't be able to do it.

While nothing seems to be impossible for Dhoni, he stated that he is a very conscious person who cannot face the camera as he loves in-person interactions. The 42-year-old also stated that he is too moody and he might shoot two-three videos and and take a year to produce his next.

"Just now I was talking about this. Someone even asked me the same. Woh bolte hai 'mere se na ho payega' (I won't be able to do it), because it's very tough. I won't say I am very camera conscious but it doesn't come to me. So, I am very happy having a one on one conversation. I am more of an in-person kind of a man. When it comes to YouTube I don't think I will be able to do it. Plus I am moody. It might happen that I will make three-four videos, then like my Instagram, put another video after one year," Dhoni can be heard saying in a video that has surfaced on X (formerly Twitter).

Even though Dhoni has retired from international cricket, he has a large fan following. The 42-year-old is still playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and fans await to see him back in action in the 2024 edition as he has been retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahesd of the auction.

The Ranchi-born cricketer led CSK to their record-equalling fifth IPL title in the 2023  with a win over Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final held in Ahmedabad. Following that, he underwent left knee surgery and has recovered from the injury. Throughout the season, he consistently played with a strapping on his left knee. However, Dhoni said that he would want to come back to the field in return of the support and love he received from his fans throughout the 2023 season.
