Star India batter Suryakumar Yadav has been ruled out of action until February 2024 due to a Grade – II ankle tear. Notably, Suryakumar was leading the T20I side in South Africa where he twisted his ankle while fielding during the third game played at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Currently, the star batter is on vacation with his wife Devisha Shetty in London and was spotted wearing a pneumatic walker boot on his left ankle.

The Mumbai-born batter was recently seen moving with the help of a walking stick in a video taking light short steps. However, he managed to bring a smile on his fans’ faces even in his ordeal by comparing himself with the famous character ‘Ballu’ from the Bollywood movie ‘Welcome’. Notably, Ballu was faking a leg injury in the movie and even had a fake story behind it.
